The First Post

The photo you see in the "About Me" section was taken in February of 2005, during our first trip to China. We had just arrived at the zoo in Guangzhou on our last full day in China. You can see me in the right-hand side of the photo, holding DD (Dear Daughter), who had fallen asleep during the bus ride.

It is hard to believe that we were first in China over four years ago! DD is now five years old and still the funny, high-spirited, strong-willed, sensitive, bright individual she was back then. DH Dear Husband) and I celebrate every moment with her.
