And for CR's Birthday...

CR enjoyed a special 8th birthday. Before school, she opened one present. Later, I went into the classroom to help out with a school play that she was starring in (she was the Queen, of course!). In the afternoon, we all went to school to see the annual holiday concert. CR had a special solo part, where she played the xylophone. At the end of the day, we went out for sushi, ate a fantastic chocolate cake, and opened one more present (a big one this year, an e-reader...this kid LOVES to read!!).
