Finally, BACK!

My goodness, but I just don't get around to updating here! I think there are just too many pulls for my time and attention right now. But, recently, we visited some friends and fell in love with their chickens. We've been toying with the idea of getting our own chickens for some time now. I think that, come spring, we are going to take the plunge. The chicken in the photo above was extremely tame - a silky bantam. CR definitely wants a chicken just like this one. They are not good egg layers, though, but they make up for it in cuteness and pet-a-bility (p.s Our friends have little dwarf goats, too - SO adorable).
