June - a month of endings

With the school year drawn to a close, we've experienced a number of "lasts" - last piano lesson, last soccer practice, last soccer game, last music class (RJ), last gymnastics class (RJ), last school project for third grade, and probably a few more that I've forgotten. For CR, most of these activities will start up again in the fall (with a few starting up again in the summer, like piano lessons), but for RJ, who will be starting preschool in the fall, they are truly endings. While we are excited about and grateful for all the accomplishments of both our girls, the reality is that they are growing up, which is joyful and bittersweet all at the same time!
