Shopping Bag Fashions By RJ

Yes, I know you are not supposed to give your kids plastic bags to play with. But RJ begged to have one, and insisted that she was going to make something with it. She watches me make "plarn" (yarn with strips of recycled plastic grocery bags), so she had a pretty good idea what to do with the scissors. I think the result is fantastic! The straps fit up around her shoulders and the ensemble had the look of a bubble suit. Who knows what our future designer/artist will come up with next!
