We made it back home, arriving at JFK at around 1 p.m. on Thursday, February 4. On that day, we had been traveling a full 24 hours by the time we stepped foot in our house. Unfortunately, DD2 was sick, so the past few days have been filled with doctor's office phone calls and visits, making an already difficult transition that much harder.
The good news is that, as of today, DD2 is feeling much, much better. Our bodies have almost adjusted back to the current time zone. In a few more days, I'll feel more on top of things, but for now, we're so thankful for our newest daughter.
DD weathered the trip beautifully, by the way.
