Middle School

I went to a school meeting last night about CR's transition to 5th grade. (They use a middle school model for the 5th graders here, complete with changing classes and lockers). The principal, dean of students, guidance counselor and social worker took turns talking about the school's programs and how they transition the 4th graders. I took a tour of the school itself and it is absolutely beautiful - amazing library, band room, cafeteria. It will be a big change for CR, but I think by the fall, she will be ready for it.
