An Author in the House!

CR has been getting lots of recognition for her work lately. Just two days ago, the principal of her school pulled me aside to tell me that one of her writing pieces had made its way to the superintendent of schools. Apparently, the principal noticed the work, just after CR had typed it, and asked if he could show it to the school's literacy coach. From there, the literacy coach showed it to the assistant superintendent of curriculum and instruction, who then showed it to the superintendent. There were cheers and kudos and sighs of amazement all around. I told the principal that he should get CR's autograph now, before she becomes a famous author. He replied that he will be the first one in attendance at her book signing. Very cool...CR is very proud.
