Train Station, Ready to Go
We spent a few days in Boston (Cambridge, actually) early last week. Getting there and back represented an interesting conglomeration of transportation! We rode the train, the subway, and the bus, all with relative ease. The baby decided that she wouldn’t sleep (nothing new there!) so the train rides were interesting…
We loved our hotel, which had great views of the Charles River. We had a great time at the Boston Museum of Science, where we got to see a 3-D movie about the world of sharks, wander through a butterfly garden with hundreds of butterflies flying around, and participate in lots of hands-on exhibits about electricity, the human body, and dinosaurs, among others. DD2 got to play in a special Discovery Center, with pint-sized things to do. All in all, a fun trip, although I must admit that the grown-ups were a bit worn out by the end of it.
