What a warm weekend! Temperatures reached the low eighties yesterday. We had our usual soccer on Saturday, and then birthday party after that. The party was held at the local art center and the kids got to create their own paintings (see photo at right). Lots of fun! When we got back, we decided to try out DD2's new pool and swim suit! On Sunday, we went to a school event sponsored by DD's elementary school. It was held at the high school track and the kids entered various events, such as the long jump, the 100 meter dash and the 400 meter dash. Despite the hot weather, DD ran both the 100 and 400 meter dashes, showing great stick-to-it-tiveness!!
