A Vermont Thanksgiving

We spent Thanksgiving in Woodstock, VT this year. It was the perfect get-away - lots of swimming, ice skating, good food, and pleasant accommodations at the Woodstock Inn. We left the day before Thanksgiving and came back the day after. On Thanksiving, we watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade on TV in our room, and managed to squeeze in ice skating AND swimming before we enjoyed a delicious turkey dinner at the Inn. In the early evening, we took advantage of a children's movie night (and watched James and The Giant Peach). The next day, we went to a Holiday Craft Fair at the Inn just prior to check-out, and stopped by Billings Farm and Museum before heading home. (Yes, those are matching dresses that you see in one of the photos. You may be seeing those again!!)
